31 Day Blog Challenge

Being a new site/blog, I saw this opportunity on Muppin.com and decided it was the perfect way to really get the blog going.

I am by no means what I would call a writer. But I want this site to be successful, and I can string a few paragraphs together - so what the heck, right? I'll give it a shot!

Check back each day in December to see what I'm up to over here. I might be featuring some of my more popular (or newer) items, giving a tour of my studio, providing a tutorial (on what? I have no idea yet), or just providing my opinion on anything related to crafting. Who knows, I may even throw in a discount code if I am feeling particularly merry.

For now, enjoy this close-up of my newest finish. A rather large (duh!) whale shark. I followed a pattern for the body, but wasn't happy with the way they suggested making the fins. So I took the fin patterns from a different shark, and adapted them to fit this lovely lady. I think she turned out rather well! Big enough to hug - and won't get lost between the couch cushions. :)
