Wait, what?! It's already after 9:00 PM here, and I promised you a blog post about my favorite shows. Mustn't back out of that deal!
Let's start with the obvious, to me at least. As I write this, Blue Bloods just started on CBS. My daughter and I both love this show, and we are super happy that the new season is here! Normally, I would be on the couch crocheting while listening to the smooth voice of Tom Selleck steer his on-screen family down the high road of every situation. Tonight though, I sit at my desk. Because as soon as I finish this blog post, it is back to sewing for me. I need to finish a few Christmas stockings to hang at my son's new place, and I have some jeans to patch for my other son. Luckily, I can still hear the TV from here - so I will continue working and listening.
My other current faves include Virgin River on Netflix (I'm halfway through season 2), The Mandalorian on Disney+ (haven't started the new season yet), The Masked Singer on Fox, The Crown on Netflix (impatiently waiting for the next season), and Cobra Kai on Netflix (gives me all the 80's feels!). Of course, this time of year, I also love to watch all the holiday specials (the original Grinch is my personal favorite). Every evening, around dinner time, I scan the guide on my TV to see what specials are on that night, before I decide whether to flip over to a streaming service.
