Lol, nope! I plan on staying the same foul-mouthed delight that I every was.
I do have some goals for the new year though. I want to focus on my home, and making it into somewhere that I love to be; I want to have more experiences and adventures - and less 'stuff'; and I want to focus on this website, including learning more about photography so that I can add high quality product images, as well as being more consistent with writing and adding blog posts.
The last time I was consistent with posting was back in December of 2020, when I was participating in a blog challenge. Unfortunately, during that challenge, my mother developed COVID-19, and was gone within days. It was difficult for many reasons, but mostly because we couldn't see her. Due to the restrictions, I had already not seen her in person since February of that year - and even the few times we tried to see her via technology, it was awkward because she was so confused (dementia is horrible anyway, add in technology to someone who had never used it, and it just adds another whole level of confusion). It was odd, and confusing, and depressing, and so much harder than I thought it would be - and took me way longer to feel 'anything' again.

Now, after a little more than 2 years, I feel like I am finally coming out of this depressive brain-fog of an era, and I am very much starting to look forward again. I bought a planner that involves goal setting & future plans, and have thoroughly enjoyed trying to envision my life in 1 year, 3 years, 10 years, etc.

And at their 50th wedding anniversary, 2005.
As I mentioned before, one of my goals is to be more consistent with blog posting. In no way do I envision myself posting daily. But I am committed to posting something weekly. I have a few topics to start the year off, and will add to that list as I think of things I want to address. Most of those will involve my crafty pursuits. But, like this post, I may (will) stray from time to time.
So with that, welcome back to my blog. I look forward to interacting with you every week this year! If you have ideas for posts you'd be interested in, or questions you want me to answer, please let me know. I'll add them to my topic list. Happy new year, and best wishes for the best year you can imagine!
