Being a female, I have been in possession of a "real" uterus for 49+ years. I can honestly say that not all of that time has been fun. My biological uterus, and its accouterments, have caused me unbearable pain, bloating, moodiness, embarrassment, etc.

I was told after a sample was taken at my last yearly physical that "it suggests menopause". Relief at last! If you have ever been in possession of your own uterus, I'm sure you know exactly what I mean.
This lovely little gal is not like that at all. She was born because a friend wanted a gift to comfort someone who had to undergo a hysterectomy. Not only is this uterus cute, it is meant to bring physical comfort. The uterus is actually a drawstring bag, and inside is a rice pack. You can heat the pack in the microwave, or chill it in the freezer, to provide comfort to sore muscles.

I sell these as finished products, but also as a .pdf pattern, so you can make your own.
I hope you've enjoyed seeing some of my popular items this week. Tomorrow, I'll be writing about something else. Not sure what yet - do you have an idea? What questions do you have for me?
